Rust River Raceway Welcomes You

This looks to be our best season yet. Even though the season hasn't started, we already have several drivers who have signed up to compete in the Rust River 200 this coming July 4th weekend. Please put that event on your summer calendar as the must-see event of the summer.

This year we have added new seating to sections 12 and 25. We also have modernized our concession stands and our restroom facilities. These were costly, but much-needed renovations that our fans will certainly appreciate. Season passes this year will rise by $20, but we feel that the improvements in the raceway facilities will more than make up for the added cost. We also have petitioned the county to add an additional traffic light at the eastern entrance to the raceway. The design for additional turn lanes has been approved, and we hope that these road improvements will be in place for this upcoming summer season.

We have added several Meet and Greet nights for singles this season. We have a package that includes admission to the raceway, two tickets for the Rust River Multiplex theatre, which is located just across from the raceway on Highway 41. We also will have a raffle where the winner will get dinner for two at Lampston's Continental Restaurant. This is a $150 value. To purchase the Meet and Greet package, drop by the special counter at the Main Entrance Gate any time. The first Meet and Greet will take place on June 10. Other Meet and Greet dates will be announced later during the summer.

Our annual photo contest will take place on August 9. The photo shoot will start at 3 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. Photos will be judged on August 21. Prizes will be awarded in different categories -- originality, color, and composition. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Top prize this year is a Miakaoshi digital camera -- a $1,000 value.
